When to Accept a Dispute

Consider accepting a dispute in these situations:

Customer claim is valid

You agree the customer's dispute reason is legitimate (e.g., product was defective, service wasn't provided).

Insufficient evidence

You don't have adequate documentation to prove the transaction was valid.

Cost-benefit analysis

The amount in dispute is small and the effort to contest isn't worthwhile.

Dispute Fees
Note that accepting a dispute may still result in dispute fees from the card network. Check with your payment processor for fee details.
